"The Sundance of magazine publishing"

Colophon is the world's biggest celebration of independent magazines, held over a weekend every two years in Luxembourg. More than 3,000 people from 25 countries attended in 2007 and 2009, participating in discussions, debates, workshops and making a 100-page magazine in less than 50 hours.

These are the pioneers who mould print to their own purposes in amazing, imaginative ways all over the world.

For each edition, we give ten magazines their own gallery spaces to recreate their publication in three dimensions. From an English sitting room to a Greyscale Bar (only black drinks or white drinks) to a Dr Strangelove-style War Room, it's an energetic, fun, inspiring weekend. And then there are the parties.

Print isn't dead. It's just being re-imagined.
